Zan Hotel, a 4-star classified hotel, is located in Voineasa, Vâlcea County, in a remarkable natural setting, on the banks of the Lotru River and at the foot of the Lotru Mountains. Its privileged location offers quick access to renowned attractions such as Transalpina, the Transalpina Ski Resort, Vidra Lake, Scoruș Waterfall, and Gâlcescu Lake, turning any stay into a memorable experience, regardless of the season.
Starting from the second half of 2025, Zan Hotel has been undergoing a continuous process of renovation, refurbishment, and facility upgrades, as part of an investment program aimed at enhancing guest comfort and overall experience quality. This process is carried out in stages, with attention to detail and the objective of delivering high-standard services.
The hotel’s restaurant has undergone the most extensive transformation, being completely renovated and modernized to provide an elegant and comfortable atmosphere. Other areas – the lounge, SPA center, fitness room, and conference room – have also been refurbished and improved to increase comfort and functionality.
An important aspect of the recent investments is the improvement of bathroom facilities. So far, 10 bathrooms have been renovated or refurbished, two fully rebuilt and the others partially upgraded. To ensure a high level of comfort, premium Grohe shower systems—known for their quality and reliability—have been installed in all hotel bathrooms. At the same time, room amenities are constantly being updated to provide guests with the most pleasant experience possible.
The hotel features 20 rooms, served by an elevator and equipped with private balconies. The Superior rooms (20 sqm) offer views of the mountains and the Lotru River, while the Standard rooms (18 sqm) provide front or side views. Four rooms on the first floor have spacious terraces, offering extra comfort and an ideal space for relaxation. The rooms are designed to ensure comfort for both leisure and business stays.
The hotel restaurant, with a capacity of 90 guests and a terrace with 50 seats, is suitable for both dining and private or corporate events.
The SPA center offers relaxation facilities such as a jacuzzi, dry sauna, and steam sauna. For active guests, there is a fitness room and a multifunctional sports field, while for the business segment, the hotel provides a fully equipped conference room with a capacity of 40 seats.
